Race Day

Race days start early and end late. My job? Capture all the chaos and calm of the day so that fans feel immersed in all the action of the team.

Race weekend begins with the team getting the boat and pit area set up. 

From pit crew members prepping the boat to racing shots with roostertails and waves, my job is to capture the action, whether still shot or video. 

Reels

A race team reel allows me to tell the story of a single heat or an entire day's racing in a few seconds. Grabbing a trending song or sound and editing my footage to fit  keeps our social media fresh and relevant.

This shot from Heat 2A, taken from the bridge over the Ohio River, became the base for a social media post I built and edited on the fly while sitting on the bridge waiting for the next heat to start.
